Design Rates

Depending on the requirements of our clients, Trilogy provides two design options – design by an Architectural Designer, or design by a Registered Architect.

Fixed Rates for Architectural Designer

The following fees structure applies for building sites that are flat or sloping up to a 10 degree angle. Where the terrain of the site is more complex, alternative design fees will be negotiated with the Client.

Alternative design fees will also be negotiated with the Client for houses that require significantly more detailing due to increased complexity of design. Trilogy will advise the Client immediately if your design falls into this category.

Rates for Registered Architect

Depending on the size, slope, and complexity of your project, you can expect to spend between $10,000 and $20,000 on design when using one of Trilogy's registered Architects. This in comparison with other Architectural companies provides significant value for money, as most Architects charge between 7-10% of construction costs, putting their fees up around $40,000 - $50,000 and beyond
